TAKE A LOOK AT THE BEAUTY OF SINDANGAN ZAMBOANGA DEL NORTE

Hi everyone! Today is a beautiful day, the sun shines so brightly, and the sky is blue as the ocean. I seem to be in love with the warmth of the sunshine these days. It's nice to take a selfie and feels the warmth of the sun's rays against my skin. it is also the right time to share with you how beautiful our town is. Look outside the window or at your door and admire how beautiful the surroundings are.

The people who do not love their native country and have no idea about its traditions and history are not able to be called the people of this country, they are the simple citizens, who just live on its territory said Bernabeth Gardonia. Do you believe in that saying? Well everyone has their own opinions and if you agree with that it's okay but if you are against then that's okay. We are here because we want to appreciate and admire how beautiful our town and the world are. Sindangan Zamboanga del Norte is my home town and I am proud to introduce to you the things that Sindangan has. Here is a little background about our town Sindangan so that you will know something about our town. 

According to Google, Sindangan is known for having some old churches, with the most popular being the Saint Joseph the Worker Church, which became a parish in 1935 under the Archdiocese of Zamboanga. Its first church building was constructed at Saint Joseph College before it was moved to its current location. The municipality of Sindangan was created on December 22, 1936, under Executive Order 97 signed by then-President Manuel L. Quezon. Formerly an isolated barrio of the municipality of Katipunan, Sindangan is now among the top revenue-generating municipalities of the province of Zamboanga Del Norte.

A terrible experience for me in this town for my 18 years of existence is that I almost hit a motorcycle many times. As I reminisce during that I am not in the wrong lane it's just there are a lot of terrible riders who don't even have a driver's licence. They are aware that it's a highway but they still don't know how to slow down. One day I was walking into the street and that was a peaceful walk for me but then suddenly I was shocked with there's a wheel hit my left leg. I'm just thankful to God because during that time he guides me and protect me because I wasn't hit so hard and I don't have any bruises or anything. I am totally fine and good. Now that I have already learned my lesson I double my carefulness to avoid any further accidents and I hope that you will too. 

I remember before when I was a kid my favourite spot in plazas playground is that the swing and the one that you will be going up and down. I don't know what they call that one but yes I enjoy that a lot. Nature scenery is very calming and it helps us to recharge our minds. Thankfully Boulevard, balwang and banmil exist in this town but the important reminder is that we need to be extra careful in that places because it surrounds them with water and we know that water is dangerous. Sindangan is much more beautiful when it's the night because there are a lot of street lights, and street foods like bbq, chicken skin and more. Honestly speaking Sindangan Zamboanga del Norte has a lot to offer and as part of this community, I appreciate the beauty of our town. I'm a Sindanganon but I have never tried to go to the different tourist spots of our town since our family is not a fan of travelling. But aside from that one thing that I can say about the pleasant side of the place is that we have a beautiful plaza and a playground that kids can surely enjoy.

A religious person like me will enjoy the scenery of The Diocesan Shrine of the Divine Mercy is known as one of the tourist spots in the town. On the top of the Divine Mercy Shrine, you will see the beauty of Sindangan Town from the mountains and seas. In entering the shine there is no entrance fee but you need to follow their dress code on wearing a skirt for girls. Not a short skirt but a long skirt that touch the ground . It is a must to follow their rules because it is a holy place.

This town is good. I Marynel Tabotabo was raised and born in this town, and this place was present during the time that I already started to dream about life and this town always witnessed the challenges that I encountered in my life. As I can remember before Sindangan wasn't like this, it's just a simple town back then not that many big buildings, unlike now that we already have cultural, we also now have a university, buildings like Jollibee, amigo, Prince, a korean restaurant, clean streets and a beautiful plaza with an amazing fountain. I can witness the evolution of our beloved town. And soon as the time goes by it will be bigger, beautiful and nice. Sooner we can have our malls here but above all, I hope that in the near future our town will have a responsible government to lead our town and its people.
